Rory and Brad had their summer wedding in Newport, Rhode Island on the most beautiful of days. They celebrated their wedding at the stunning Regatta Place, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the ocean. Their family and friends joined them for an unforgettable celebration.

Rory and her bridesmaids cranked up the music, popped some bubbly, and got ready in the beautiful, light-filled dressing suite. The vibrant colors of summer infused every aspect of their day—from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the florals, everything popped with life!

First Look Together

Rory and Brad chose the dock for their first look, just past their ceremony site. With boats surrounding them, they shared an emotional moment before snapping a few simple yet intimate portraits.

An Oceanside Ceremony for a Summer Wedding in Newport, Rhode Island

For the ceremony, Rory walked down the aisle with both her mom and dad. Her stepfather officiated, adding a personal touch. Laughter and a few happy tears filled the air, making the ceremony unforgettable.

Maddie Haley of Absuna created a stunning floral design that made their wedding stand out. Each table featured a unique centerpiece, and the bold colors sparked conversation. They also incorporated coastal elements into the decor, tying the oceanside celebration together.

Sunset Couples Portraits

After a sun-soaked cocktail hour, we moved on to Rory and Brad’s private cake cutting and sunset portraits. The light that day was magical, and we were even more surprised when the couple whose stunning boat was docked next to the ceremony space invited us aboard. We captured stunning photos from the bow of the boat—it truly felt like a dream come true!

Time to Party!

After finishing their portraits, Rory and Brad kicked off their reception with their first dance.
They followed it up with a lively Hora and heartfelt toasts. The sky gave them a beautiful pink and orange sunset, setting the perfect mood. After dinner, we took a few more portraits as their delicious donut spread made its debut. The Silver Arrow Band kept everyone dancing late into the night.
