Miriam and Noah’s Cambridge Wedding at the Commonwealth Cambridge was such a joy to shoot. Miriam and Noah met while doing a summer internship in DC and started dating while they were still in DC. They’ve been inseparable ever since!
They ended up with the most GORGEOUS summer wedding day. The Commonwealth Cambridge is an intimate, unique venue right outside Boston in Cambridge, MA. It gives you incredible rooftop views, and intimate indoor spaces to host a reception. You can really make the space anything you would like! When scouting this venue, I knew I wanted the backdrop of their portraits to be the incredible Boston skyline. We held their first look on the rooftop of the 21st-floor, which gave us sweeping views for miles. After their first look, Miriam and Noah exchanged their private vows to one another overlooking the Boston Skyline.
Miriam and Noah had a private Ketubah signing prior to their ceremony, and it was emotional, intimate, and beautiful to witness. Their ceremony took place on the 2nd-floor rooftop deck where they stood under a gorgeous white birch chuppah with incredible florals by Central Square Florist. It was important to Miriam and Noah that they have as much time as possible to spend with their guests, so we structured their day and photos to allow them to be present for their entire cocktail hour (we did a first look and all family, wedding party and about 95% of their couples portraits prior to the ceremony), and then made sure to save time for the 21st floor sunset portraits. After dinner, the dance floor opened and their guests didn’t sit down again, it was quite the party!
