Donna and WeiXuan’s wedding was originally scheduled for March of this year, but they had to push it out to August due to Covid restrictions. They’re still planning for their big wedding in August, but they didn’t want to wait to get married! Plus, their original date was an auspicious date for their marriage in WeiXuan’s Chinese culture, so they wanted to keep their exact date. So, they planned a wedding they would be happy with even if the August wedding wasn’t able to happen. Surrounded by their family, they had an elopement at Oakholm Farm Estate.

Elopement at Oakholm Farm Estate

Oakholm Farm Estate is an amazing venue in Brookfield, and it’s one of my favorite places for micro weddings! Donna and WeiXuan wanted a place that would make it easy to plan a small wedding. They wanted to be in Massachusetts but also be closer to WeiXuan’s family coming from upstate New York. After visiting Oakholm, they thought it was perfect. An elopement at Oakholm Farm Estate checked all the boxes for them, and they loved it, especially the library that they ended up getting married in!

Intimate First Look and Portraits

Donna and WeiXuan’s favorite part of the day was their first look! Donna said that it was so special to have a moment alone together before the ceremony. I love being able to capture important moments like these. We got some amazing portraits of the two of them together both in front of the house and later in the nearby woods. One of my favorite details was Donna’s jean jacket that she got from David’s Bridal. It looked so cute on her and in pictures.

I love working with couples on their intimate weddings. An elopement at Oakholm Farm Estate is my favorite, especially when it’s working with an adorable couple like Donna and WeiXuan.
