There’s just something about a lived-in love. One that’s worn in. Comfortable.
It’s been through the ups and downs. It’s been tested.
This love has grown. Changed shape. It’s wise. Understanding.
This love is strong.
This is the kind of love that we saw between Aly & Al as we captured their vow renewal.
10 years of saying yes to a life together. Seeing the world. Raising babies.
Continuing to say yes, together.
The magic that happened during this afternoon we spent together took my breath away.
When Meg and I knew that we were going to be together this past summer here in Massachusetts, we knew that we wanted to shoot together.
We wanted to capture a real love story.
So we reached out and found Aly and Al and from the second we started talking, we knew this session was going to be incredible.
They were up for anything. Trusted our creative vision.
They wanted to capture their story. They wanted to re-new their vows.
We asked them to write a love letter to each other.
To be witness their intimate and personal words was such a privilege.
We watched as Al’s eyes focused in on Aly talking about their lives together and the journey to come. The smile never left his face.
We wiped our own tears away as Aly’s eyes overflowed when Al got down on his knee, a moment that she had been waiting for their entire relationship, to ask her to marry him again.
Simply put, it was one of the most intense and incredible afternoons we’ve spent as photographers.
Thank you, Aly and Al for allowing us in, for trusting us, for sharing your love with us.
Congratulations on the beautiful life you’ve created together and we wish you all the best as you walk on together in the years to come.
Love Love Love! Aly and Al you guys rock!
